The México Monterrey East Mission is based in Monterrey, in Nuevo León, Mexico. Monterrey lies about 710 km (440 miles) north of Mexico City, at 25.7° N, 100.3° W and about 560 m (1,837 ft) above sea level.
Monterrey has a recorded population of about 1.1 million. México Monterrey West Mission is also based in Monterrey, so the two missions divide the area between them.
